These Terms of Use apply to your use of FormuDesk, an iOS application for editing, calculating, and verifying mathematical formulas.

2. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading or using FormuDesk, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the app.
These Terms do not limit any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
3. Permitted Use
You may use FormuDesk for lawful personal, educational, or professional purposes, subject to these Terms and any applicable platform rules.
You must not misuse the app, interfere with its normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or use the app in violation of applicable law or the rights of others.
4. Formula Calculations and OCR Results
FormuDesk is a calculation and formula utility. You are responsible for reviewing your formulas, input values, units, assumptions, and results before relying on them.
OCR may incorrectly recognize mathematical symbols, numbers, or other characters. Always review recognized content and correct errors before using a calculation result.
Do not rely solely on FormuDesk for safety-critical, medical, engineering, financial, scientific, or other consequential decisions without appropriate independent verification.
The app is provided as a tool and is not a substitute for professional advice, independent calculations, or appropriate quality-control procedures.
5. In-App Purchases
FormuDesk offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. Any applicable price, product description, and purchase conditions will be presented through the relevant purchase flow before you complete a transaction.
Purchases are subject to Apple's applicable terms and payment processes. Billing, refunds, and payment-related requests may be handled through Apple, subject to applicable law.
The developer must confirm the exact purchase model before publication. If FormuDesk offers a one-time purchase, the terms and app interface should accurately describe the associated entitlement. If it offers an auto-renewing subscription, additional subscription disclosures, renewal details, pricing, cancellation instructions, and any applicable trial conditions must be provided as required.
The availability and operation of a restore-purchases feature depend on the products offered and the app's implementation. Do not assume that every purchase is restorable; check the applicable purchase details and app functionality.
6. Intellectual Property
FormuDesk and its original software, branding, interface, and other developer-provided materials are owned by the developer or licensed to the developer, and are protected by applicable law.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of FormuDesk or its intellectual property to you. You retain any rights you may have in the formula content you create or enter.
7. App Updates and Availability
The app may be updated, modified, or discontinued as reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Features and performance may vary depending on your device, iOS version, and other technical conditions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FormuDesk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties except those that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The developer does not guarantee that every formula will be interpreted correctly, that every calculation will be suitable for every purpose, or that the app will operate without interruption or error.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, guarantee, consumer right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, FormuDesk.
This includes losses arising from reliance on unchecked formulas, OCR output, input values, or calculation results, to the extent such limitations are permitted by law.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Third-Party Services
Apple's App Store, payment facilities, and iOS platform services are provided under Apple's applicable terms and policies. If you choose to export or share content through another app or service, that provider's terms and privacy practices apply to its handling of the content.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date should be updated when a revised version is published.
Where required by law, material changes will be communicated or handled in accordance with applicable requirements.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
The governing law and dispute-resolution venue have not yet been confirmed. This section must be reviewed and completed before publication, taking account of the developer's circumstances and applicable consumer-protection requirements.
Nothing in these Terms overrides mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
